Bilqis Abdul-Qaadir knew she wanted basketball to be part of her life. But when the International Basketball Federation banned headwear and she was stopped short of playing professionally in her hijab, she sacrificed her dream career for her faith. She is a living example of someone striving to hold true to her principles in a place where that’s not an easy feat.
