As humans, we find comfort in the company of others; but as Muslims, “most people” will not take us where we need to go. To excel spiritually and to remain on the right path, we have to be different from “most people.” While being different may make us feel a sense of inferiority initially, it is empowering when you realize that it is due to one’s submission to a higher purpose — a better purpose.
