Tareq Tamr is the Podcast Producer at Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research. He grew up in Windsor, Ontario, and he currently resides in the Metro Detroit area. He completed a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy, and he is pursuing Islamic studies on a part-time basis. Tareq is a khateeb and lecturer for youth and young professionals, and he has served his community as a youth director, Islamic school teacher, and MSA executive. Tareq is the founder of Thinkbites, an online publication for personal and spiritual development. He is passionate about the intersection of spirituality, psychology, and mental health.
