Khalid’s parents immigrated from Syria to Fort Worth, where he was born.  Shortly afterward, his family moved to a suburb of Dallas where he grew up. He has a Bachelors degree in Economics with a certificate in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin. He enjoys sports, learning, and the outdoors.
