Abdullah Abu-Mahfouz is an independent Muslim American film director, writer, and the creative author behind Reel Nation Media, a production company he co-founded in 2014. Abdullah is committed to creating cinematic narratives that bridge cultural divides and foster empathy, healing, and understanding through film. Drawing inspiration from the groundbreaking work of Moustapha Akkad, his storytelling blends Eastern and Western narratives, offering fresh perspectives that resonate with diverse global audiences.

A graduate of Full Sail University, Abdullah’s career spans documentaries, branded content, and feature-length films, including “Stand Up” and his latest project, “Sally’s Iron Mustangs.” This forthcoming documentary highlights the journey of 64-year-old bodybuilder Sally Winchell as she leads a group of senior women in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, inspiring them to overcome age-related stereotypes through strength training and health advocacy. His films explore themes of resilience, spirituality, and personal growth, always with an eye on inspiring transformation in viewers.
