Juz 8: Whose Validation Do You Need? | Sh. Shabbir Hassan

Trying your best to do good but not seeing the outcome you want? It’s time to reflect on how you define success.

Dr. Omar Suleiman and Sh. Abdullah Oduro are joined by Sh. Shabir Hassan to reflect on Prophets who had no followers, ways of seeking validation, being among “the few”, and acting for Allah’s sake.

The du’a mentioned in the discussion:

اللَّهُمَّ اسْتَخْدِمْنَا وَلَا تَسْتَبْدِلْنَا

Allahumma astakhdimna wa la tastabdilna. “O Allah, use us and do not replace us.”

Names of Allah discussed: Al-Lateef, Al-Ghani, Al-Haleem, Al-Saboor, Al-Sitteer
