Contributor | Strategy, Policy, and Research in-house scholar at the National Zakat Foundation in the UK, completed his Islamic studies in the six-year Alimiyyah degree at Darul Uloom Leicester, and specialized in Islamic law and Islamic finance at Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah, Durban, South Africa. He graduated as a jurisconsult (Mufti) in 2012, accredited with Masters of Arts in Islamic Theology with specialization in juristic verdicts (Iftaa) and a Diploma in Islamic Finance. He completed a Master’s Degree in Islamic Finance, Banking, and Management at Newman University in 2017 and has also attained finance industry qualifications including the Ethica Certified Islamic Finance Executive (CIFE™) and the Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) with Chartered Institutes of Securities and Investment. He is currently studying to become a qualified Chartered Accountant.
