Contributor | Maryam Sultan ​is a resident physician in Houston, TX. She earned Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Middle Eastern & Islamic Studies from New York University. She went on to pursue a medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and is now in the midst of residency training in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with focuses in musculoskeletal injuries and neurorehabilitation. She has pursued traditional Islamic learning since college through AlMaghrib Institute, Mishkah University, and the Foundation for Knowledge and Development.
