The story of Islam and the African American is nothing short of miraculous. While ten times the number of enslaved Africans were sent to Brazil, it is here in the United States that Islam took root amongst the descendants of those persons. Why is it that Allah chose this group of people to absorb Islam with such love and dedication, and what does it mean to uplift that legacy today?
