In hellfire and paradise, the hardships or blessings are perpetually renewed to either increase one in despair or in delight. The tormentors in Gaza who give false hope only to throw people back into fires will face a similar fate. In life, our periods of test and ease also are prolonged at different durations in a way that we place our hope only in Allah in good times and bad times.
