When the Prophet ﷺ reached a point where he wanted to divorce Hafsa (ra), it was ultimately the convincing of an angel that kept them together. Jibreel (as) did not invoke her family name or reputation, but her dedication to prayer as a reason why she would remain his wife in paradise.
